Why are you people so vain and superficial?

I'm talking about hair. You people with your hairless body fixation are so way off base that it's stupefying.

The human body has hair. It comes as standard equipment with genital hair, armpit hair, leg hair, arm hair, facial hair, chest hair, abdomen hair, back hair, butt crack hair. It comes with hair. Some people have more hair than others. It's just hair for crying out loud.

Why have you succombed to this fixation that body hair is undesireable? Why are you so turned off by body hair when it is as natural as breathing?

Would you really not want to be with someone you liked after they took off their clothes and she had more than a landing strip or he had a little back hair?

Would you really no longer be attracted to someone you loved if she had arms that were a little hairy or he didn't shave his balls?

Why did you people become so vain and superficial? Why did you start accepting the idea that a lover had to be hairless?

As for the last two questions...I'll give them a shot...People are vain and superficial when it comes to the way a body should look because of TV, movies, anything from the media. When they show a person exercising on the BowFlex, the man ALWAYS is hairless and he looks like a fruitcake. Same with porn stars, hairless in just about every movie I've seen. I guess this also goes into the second question too. And then a trend starts. People think you can only be beautiful if you shave your entire body from head to toe and god forbid if you ahve stomach hair or peach fuzz!

The hairless look is just a trend, it's in style to have a super smooth body. I agree that it's weird and unnatural when you think about it, but people will look down on you if you were to try and rebel by not shaving your legs or armpits! Lots of things that are "natural" are not in style or accepted by society....like being a healthy weight, accepting your natural skin tone, wearing shoes that are good for your body (unlike 4inch stilettos!) etc!! People have an obsession with feeling clean (hence all the antibacterial stuff) and being hairless feels cleaner.

too much hair on the body looks animal-like. its not vain, it's just a preference. you need to relax.

I don't really have that problem, my hair is very light but sometimes it bothers me. However, if you stop loving someone or dump someone because they are a little hairy, wow you're really shallow. I think thats completely and totally ridiculous, and it needs to stop, but then again this is America.

Everyone has they're own taste. weather it be with hair or without hair. Everyone has different tastes and preferences.
