Why would a guy do this?

The guy Im with at the moment has a plucking thing. He likes to have his facial hair plucked/tweezed. He gets a small lamp just about every night and puts it right by his face or my face and wants me to pluck his facial hair Mostly his Beard and under his chin. Then he is obsessed with finding hair on me to pluck. WTF? Have you ever herd of this? Please be serious I know you guys want to beat this up by being funny or rude but please be serious.

This is called Trichotillomania (TTM for short). It's an obsessive/impulse disorder and actually not that uncommon. Just tell him you won't and he is being silly if you do'nt want to. You don't have to like it or help him but everyone has their quirks so i would just ignore it.

I guess he just enjoys it. I know someone like this, although she's a girl. She shaves in the shower but does the same plucking thing for hair that was missed.

But finding hair on you to pluck is very weird. I'd draw the line and make him keep his hobby to himself.

Could be an obsessive compulsive symptom.

My sister in law pulls here hair right out of her scalp.

It has a long name can't spell.But it start with tryca..something.

I am not making light of this disorder--it is a lifetime disorder.

Some people have things that bother them, like pet peeves. If your BF's hair plucking is bothering you... then maybe you are not meant to be...
