Why do some women deliberately neglect this?

Unfortunately, some women have facial hair. I'm not talking about tiny peach fuzz; I'm talking about "Frida Kahlo moustache" or worse. If you don't know who or what Frida Kahlo was, look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frida_Kahlo

A woman who has facial hair has to know that it is there. Why do they deny / neglect it? Do they believe that completely false and ridiculous old myth about it growing back heavier, if they shave it or wax it off? I mean really, we are talking the face here, not below the neck. Everybody sees it, including herself!

I'm a guy and I regularly maintain my undesirable facial growth. I don't want to look in the mirror and see shrubbery growing out of my nose and ears, and I don't want to subject other people to having to look at it either. Grooming is good for self esteem and and is also a courtesy to others. There's no excuse not to do something about it.

What's up with these women? What is their excuse?

Why do some women deliberately neglect this?

I really don't know why some women neglect facial hair.I hate it!! I always shve whenever I see facial hair and mine is soft and not really noticeable, but I ALWAYS notice it.

Why do some women deliberately neglect this?

that is nasty I seen full berds

Why do some women deliberately neglect this?

True many many of us have it - I remove it daily with tweezers - waxing only tears the skin of my lip (ouch). Don't know why they wouldn't want to remove it. I come from a long line of slightly hirsute women and most of us remove it one way or another. There are however groups of women with beards and mustaches who are quite proud of their facial hair. Not all of them are dykes either.

Why do some women deliberately neglect this?

I don't think it's neglect, I mean facial hair is on your face, you see your face EVERYDAY, so I don't think they neglect it. Either they don't care about the way they look, or they don't have the funds to take care of it on a regular basis, or they are afraid of the myths that are out there, or it's a cultural thing.. I know many east Indian women who don't wax their uni-brow because it's said that a person who is born with a uni-brow is a lucky person financially, and i guess destiny wise as well.

Freida wanted the world to see her for herself, exactly the way she was, with the facial hair and all..She was a feminist, if you can't tell already. She didn't feel that women had to adorn themselves with make up or what not to look beautiful, they are beautiful just the way they are. And guess what?? We are the most beautiful creatures in this world...:)

But in all honesty it just comes down to personal choice.. I tweeze my eyebrows and shave my legs and armpits, Luckily I don't have facial hair on my face except for my eyebrows, and my body doesn't have much hair either.. so it makes everything easy..

Why do some women deliberately neglect this?

I, for one, am someone who is at peace with myself. I do not worry about my outer image, as it is what we are on the inside that really counts. If you do not like what you see, you are always free to look in another direction. What you find offensive to look at may actually be attractive to a more enlightened individual.

Why do some women deliberately neglect this?

Maybe it is part of their religion? Or maybe they are sick of constantly plucking, waxing, shaving and bleaching and don't have the funds to remove it permanently? And hair, does tend to grow back even thicker, darker and more quickly once you remove it by shaving, tweezing, etc. That is no myth.

Whatever the reason, it really has nothing to do with you and I find it odd that this would concern you so much. Maybe focus a bit more on yourself and you'll see your are not so perfect either. Or maybe you already know that and that is why you prefer to focus on women's faults.........what is your excuse?

HTH : )
